Welcome to my super awesome web 2.0 portfolio.
Bio
Rollo Tully
Hello! Welcome to my super legit web 2.0 project portfolio, featuring only the finest formatting 2001 has to offer. Here you can find some of the more successful projects I’ve worked on, either on my own or with teams of friends and colleagues.
This page gets updated from time to time as projects mature into things I feel are worthy of seeing the light of day. I hope it goes without saying that behind this site is a graveyard of failed projects that may or may not be propped up again one day. Those that got anywhere live on my GitHub as messy codebases. Feel free to dig around.
I’m currently a PhD candidate at the University of Manchester’s Digital Manufacturing Lab. My work focuses on using computational methods to design passively morphing adaptive flow actuators (very fancy bendy propellers).
Projects Stuff I've worked on over the years
Hecate
A fully custom, long-range, all-electric survey UAS. Once complete it should break the standing range record by more than 20%.
Fortis
An all-electric heavy-lift UAS built for the BMFA payload challenge. Just 685g with its battery, and still able to carry the full payload of 4kg.
Meteosat Image reception
Images from my attempts to receive and decode weather satellite signals.
